Please encourage your clients interested in visiting Machu Picchu, to book as soon as possible. Please also note that as per new regulations visitors interested in hiking Huayna Picchu must purchase their tickets in advance and preferable at the moment they purchase the entrance ticket to Machu Picchu. The new fee for Huayna Picchu is US $10. The number of hikers per day is limited to 200 between 7 am and 8 am, and 200 between 10 am and 11 am. The hike to Huayna Picchu, the steep mountain across Machu Picchu, has become a very popular hike, from its peak (8920 ft.) one can enjoy an unparalleled view of Machu Picchu. This hike takes a good 40 minutes each way and the level of difficulty is from easy to moderate. “It looks a lot harder than it really is”.
