Evening arrival in Lima.

Day 2 Saturday
In the afternoon Tour of Modern and Colonial Lima and Larco Museum. (B)

Day 3 Sunday
Transfer to Nazca. (B)

Day 4 Monday
Flight over Nazca Lines. Visit Cantayoc Aqueduct and Antonini Museum. (B)

Day 5 Tuesday
Visit Pampa Galeras National Park. Transfer to Ica. (B,BL)

Day 6 Wednesday
Transfer to Paracas. Boat tour around the Ballestas Islands passing the Candelabro. Transfer to Lima. (B)

Day 7 Thursday
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Puerto Maldonado. Motorized canoe ride to Posada Amazonas, the river trip is a good opportunity to observe caiman, turtles, and riverside bird life. (B,L,D)

Day 8 Friday
Visit the parrot and macaw clay lick, excursion to Tres Chimbadas oxbow lake in search of giant river otters and other aquatic wildlife and visit eagle-nesting sites. (B,L,D)

Day 9 Saturday
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Free afternoon. (B)

Day 10 Sunday
In the afternoon Tour of Cusco and its Ruins. (B)

Day 11 Monday
Full Day excursion to Moray, Maras Salt Pools and a Quechua Village. Overnight in Sacred Valley. (B,L)

Day 12 Tuesday
Full Day excursion to the Pisac Indian Market and Ollantaytambo Fortress. Overnight in Sacred Valley. (B,L)

Day 13 Wednesday
Excursion to Machu Picchu with overnight stay. (B,L)

Day 14 Thursday
Return to Cusco. (B)

Day 15 Friday
Free day in Cusco for independent activities. (B)

Day 16 Saturday
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima and then take your connecting flight to home. (B)
