Starting with the interior design of the railcars, the textures, flavors, scents, sounds, and the panoramic windows, everything has been designed to provide our guests a mystic experience.

The exterior design of the train reflects chosen colors to harmonize with the environment, so that the look of the train combines well with the landscape during the journey. Internally, the colors are warm and soothing to rest your eyes and are aimed not to compete with the spectacular landscape that can be appreciated through our panoramic windows.

The train is scenced with a fragrance specifically designed for Inca Rail to combine essential oils of peppermint, lemon and tangerine, fragrances that invite you to rest and relax during the trip. For the interior design, we have used wood and special tapestries that, in addition to being comfortable, are nice to the touch.

During the journey we offer to our passengers natural beverages and herbal infusions, and delicious snacks prepared with no chemicals or preservatives.

In addition, all our railcars have air-conditioning, our windows have UV protection, also we provide indirect ambient lighting and state of the art stereo systems to make the experience comfortable and relaxing.

Executive Service
This service has been created for those passengers that are looking for comfort and relax. The railcars, that carry only 48 passengers, have very comfortable seats, each one with a front table and large panoramic window that will let the passenger enjoy the fabulous scenery.

During the journey, passengers will enjoy relaxing ambient music, flowers scents, delicious and healthy snacks made free from chemicals or preservants. Fine natural beverages and herbal teas are also available.

First Class Service
The exclusive First Class Service offers even greater comfort and space. With only thirty seats per wagon, the oversized plush seats have been carefully designed to assure passenger maximum comfort and relaxation.

Our passengers will be received with a delicious welcome drink and a fine towel scented with natural oils, to refresh before starting the trip. Then, they will enjoy exquisite gourmet dishes prepared with Andean ingredients, accompanied by a glass of wine. Finally, the extraordinary culinary experience offered by Inca Rail ends with a delicious dessert and a fine selection of teas.

In Inca Rail we had take care not only to delight our passengers with the delicious flavours of the already famous Peruvian cuisine, but also in providing to them a healthy diet, friendly with the environment with local ingredients and many of them organics.

Relaxing ambient music, flowers, floral scents and beautiful tables dressed with traditional handcrafted textiles made by Peruvian artisans are part of this exclusive service that will delight passengers while travelling through the wonderful Andean landscape.

Presidential Service
The Presidential Service of Inca Rail is designed for travelers looking for privacy, luxury and comfort.

As a way of celebrating the 100 years since the discovery of Machu Picchu, Inca Rail has launched its new luxury service, with their luxury car named “Inca Princess”.

The concept of this new service is based entirely on the privacy, elegance and comfort. Its capacity is for 8 persons and has a finely decorated room in which stand beautiful images of Peruvian culture.

The car also has a bar on board, which will offer passengers an assorted variety of cocktails and drinks, they are accompanied by a spectacular buffet of hot and cold dishes, prepared to delight the most demanding passengers.

Services and Itineraries
Inca Rail offers to their passengers 3 different services: Executive, First Class and Presidential, in 3 convenient schedules according for each need.

For those who want to experience in full one of the most magical places in the world, our itinerary at 6:40 a.m. will allow them to travel in the first train arriving daily to Machu Picchu. 

For those who prefer to enjoy time at their hotel and a relaxing morning, we offer our itinerary at 11:35 a.m. Passengers will have the opportunity to have lunch in the town  and enjoy Machu Picchu during the afternoon.

Our itinerary at 4:36 p.m. is ideal for those who want to spend the night in Machu Picchu. They will be able to visit all day the Sacred Valley and then take de train and enjoy the amazing landscape view during your journey to Machu Picchu.

For the return, passengers can choose any of our 3 departures from Machu Picchu: 8:30 a.m, 2:02 p.m or 7:00 p.m.
