Historical Tour (Electrical bike)

Half Day

The Historical Tour showcases some of Santiago’s most iconic destinations. The tour begins at the headquarters office and will work its way down the frequently traveled Andres Bello bike path. As the tour reaches downtown our itinerary will be as follows.

Parque Forestal:

An iconic park created on reclaimed land from the Mapocho River, it is as popular with Chileans as it is with foreigners. (Ride through) Barrio Lastarria: A neighborhood at the center of much of Santiago's cultural activity, with theaters, museums, restaurants and bars. (Walk through)

Cerro Santa Lucia:

A 65,300 square meter park, adorned with ornate facades, fountains, two forts and a cemetery. (Programmed stop)

Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes:

The National Museum of Fine Arts. One of the major centers for Chilean art nestled within the popular Parque Forestal. (Programmed stop)

Mercado Central:

A traditional market known for its typical Chilean cuisine and bustling fish market. (Programmed Stop)

La Vega:

Santiago's biggest and busiest fresh produce market. A great place to experience real Chilean culture and buy goods straight from the farm. (Programmed stop)

Barrio Bellavista:

Santiago's bohemian quarter that lies between the Mapocho River and San Cristóbal Hill. (Ride through)

La Chascona:

(the house of Pablo Neruda) in Barrio Bellavista, on the slopes of San Cristóbal Hill. La Chascona retains the poet’s signature quirky style, in particular his love of the sea. (Programmed stop)

The stop at La Chascona marks the end of the Historical Tour, but not before the tour takes a slight scenic detour for its return back to Easybici headquarters. Instead of going back via the Andres Bello bike path, thanks to our capable e-bikes, the tour will finish with a climb of Cerro San Cristobal as we take a “shortcut” through the world’s sixth largest urban park.
